We are delighted to welcome Dr Emma Hattle back to South Melbourne Medical Hub from Monday 9 February, following extended leave visiting family in the UK.

While overseas, Dr Emma completed her Menopause Care Professional Certificate. She offers dedicated menopause consultations, including the annual Perimenopause and Menopause health assessment, alongside her broader women’s health services.

Originally trained in the UK, Emma completed her medical degree in 2009 and has worked across a wide range of healthcare settings in both the UK and Australia. Before pursuing general practice, she completed two years of specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, which continues to inform her work and deepen her focus on women’s health. She holds postgraduate qualifications in reproductive and sexual health and is accredited to provide shared maternity care through the Royal Women’s Hospital.

Emma currently consultes at the location of South Melbourne Medical Hub, where she offers a warm, supportive space for patients of all ages and stages. Alongside general practice, she provides:

  • IUD and contraceptive implant services
  • Iron infusions
  • Menopause management
  • Prescriber of MS-2 Step for unplanned pregnancies.

A mother of three, Emma understands the demands of family life and brings a practical, empathetic approach to her work. She also mentors medical students and continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing professional training.
