Dr Simon Hattle is a highly accomplished GP with extensive General Practice and Specialty Physician experience, holding memberships of both the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP, FRACGP). Alongside his General Practice role, Dr Hattle has recently worked as a Senior Lecturer at Monash Medical School, undertaken Aged care roles within Peninsula Health and works at local aged care facilities in South Melbourne.
Simon enjoys all aspects of General Practice from Child health to older person’s medicine. He has a specialist interest in the prevention of Cardiovascular disease (e.g. heart attacks) chronic disease management (e.g. Diabetes, heart failure, hypertension) as well as Older person’s medicine.
(Simon believes that a thorough General Practice consultation allows for the assessment and management of multiple medical conditions within the GP Surgery, thereby reducing the need for excessive specialist referrals that cost patients time and money)
During his time away from the practice Dr Hattle enjoys spending time with his growing young family, as well as playing and watching sports when he is allowed to turn ABC kids off
